David Empey
David quite literally grew up in a theatre, as his father was the head of a college theatre program. He ran his first sound console in 7th grade and being paid to do lighting was his first job. David has worked in all aspects of the theatre world, filling all production positions and most front-of-house and artistic jobs. David's career path has taken him throughout the country and includes 5 years working for ETC in New York City. He met his wife Alisa when she walked into a theatre as an audience member. David literally fell in love at first sight and a few years later, he and Alisa were married.
In addition to his work with Stray Cat, David is a System Sales person for Barbizon Lighting and the Technical Director at Sun Valley Church in Chandler. He also does freelance work for a variety of churches and theaters throughout the valley.
