Ron May

Ron currently serves as Artistic Director for Stray Cat Theatre where he has directed Stupid Kids, The Dianalogues (published by Smith and Krause in their collection of Best Female Playwrights - with the Stray Cat production listed in the production credits), The Laramie Project, Patty Red Pants, Hysteric Studs, A Clockwork Orange, [sic], The Normal Heart, The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love/Suicide, Trainspotting, Fat Pig, 4.48 Psychosis and most recently, A Number. This season he will also direct the cult musical Pulp.

Outside the litter box, Ron has directed for Actors Theatre (Augusta, The Pursuit of Happiness); Nearly Naked Theatre (As Bees in Honey Drown, Marvin's Room, Valparaiso); Planet Earth Theatre (Shopping and Fucking, Polaroid Stories); along with Black Theatre Troupe and ASU's Mainstage.

Recent acting credits include Mason Marzac in Nearly Naked Theatre's Take Me Out and Peter in Stray Cat's Stop Kiss.

During the summer of 2001, he spent time in New York as a fellow in The Lincoln Center Theatre Director's Lab.

Ron currently pays the bills as the Audiences Services guy at Actors Theatre.
